Different Prices:
Q. Why are there sometimes 2 different prices for the same piece?
How To Find My Pattern:A. Some pieces we bought in bulk from the factory at a lower cost. Others reflect an overstock situation. Either way, we pass the savings on to you. You can purchase either one or both.
Q. How do you recommend I use the Silverwarehouse Web Site?
Cannot Find My Pattern Listed:A. You can search for your silverware or register for pieces we temporarily do not have. You can search by a single pattern or browse alphabetically by pattern name or manufacturer name. For example, if you collect Oneida flatware, you can browse all the patterns from manufacturers beginning with the letter "O". Or, if you know your pattern starts with the word 'Rose', you can go to the R's and search to find the available listed patterns beginning with the letter 'R'.
Q. Why can I not find my pattern listed?
Selling My Unwanted Silverware:A. We have listed the most commonly requested patterns. At the bottom of every web page returned by a pattern search are fields to complete to register for any pattern not listed. If you submit online the pattern and pieces for which you are looking, we will try to locate those pieces and contact you. There is no obligation to buy.
Q. How can I dispose of my unwanted silverware?
Identifying a pattern name:A. We buy all types of flatware and holloware. It is necessary to know the name of your pattern before we can make an offer. If you need help with that, check our instructions for identifying a flatware pattern, otherwise, click here to submit a request to sell your merchandise. We are not currently buying china or crystal, but you may want to check with one of our partners.
Q. How can I find the name of my pattern?
Sales TaxA. Silverwarehouse offers a FREE identification service. Click here for instructions on our FREE pattern identification service.
Q. Does Silverwarehouse charge sales taxes?
A. State law requires a Missouri-based business (such as Silverwarehouse) to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Missouri addresses. In our case, the amount of sales tax collected is based on the tax rate for Kansas City, Missouri. We are not required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to residents of any other state, unless merchandise is shipped from a warehouse within that state. |
